Day 18: Create sustainability by ingraining new behaviors and new habits that support you. Now that your life is changing. What new patterns and habits must you develop? Ok, when you began, you thought this process was all about goals… and as you have been learning, what it is truly about is becoming aware of your thoughts, habits and focus. What have you learned about yourself to this point? This is where you really begin work on the new YOU!!! This is where you create what we will call “sustainability”. I cannot stress how important this is for consistent and sustainable results. You must identify the new “habits” that you have developed and who you’ve become in the process. Take a few minutes and journal about the following topics. What new things are you doing now on a regular basis that you were not doing when you began? What behaviors and consistent habits must be part of your life to continue to grow? What new things must you do and become in order to sustain these changes in your life? What are some of the habits you have either developed, or reinforced during this process? What are some habits you have gotten rid of? What are some new habits that you still need to create? What habits do you need to maintain to live at this higher standard? Create sustainability by being very aware of what has worked for you, and looking at what you can continue to integrate as new habits and patterns.
