Using Mental Imagery

Meditate and focus on who you are becoming.

Day 16: Using mental imagery - Meditate/focus on who you are becoming and what you want. Success is truly simple… when we learn to get out of our own way. A tool that can help you accelerate your progress is to use mental imagery to get a clear vision of who you are becoming and will continue to become as a part of this process.

What I have been intending to do is give you insight that many “goal” programs do not. In case you are still focused on the goal itself, it’s time to let you in on a secret. It is not the steps that you take which make you successful. It is about the changes you make within yourself, learning about yourself as well as your conscious and unconscious processes that allow you to succeed on a consistent basis.

Success is a consistency of purpose, driven by the desire to grow. How do we feed that desire and remain on purpose? Focus!

Review your journal right now and list the following things.

What is your goal? Get clear. Why is it absolutely necessary that you achieve this result? Now take 15 minutes and focus on it. See it, hear it, feel it, smell it… taste it!

It’s time to recruit resources far greater and more powerful than yourself and those around you. It’s time to become more of who you are. The best way to do that is to get quiet and use mental imagery to meditate/focus on your goal. This enlists the universal force that is infinitely powerful, and wants to support you in achieving your goal. All you have to do is tap into that power. You can pray, you can meditate… you choose. Focus in silence on your goal. This will move you forward faster than you ever imagined. And then look for the signs that you are moving in the right direction.

From now until you have achieved your goal, spend 15 minutes each morning when you first wake up and 15 minutes at night right before you fall asleep using mental imagery that will allow you to be completely focused on your goal, and who you have become to achieve it.
